Packing, Packing, Packing, Did I mention we are Packing!!!


Well this is our living room in its current state, boxes everywhere can't watch tv, and really there is no room to even sit down. It's pretty amazing at what a young married couple can accumulate in just two and a half years, especially with a limited budget. But this is just our living room, we also have boxes in the hall, the spare bedroom, our bedroom, the bathroom and even in the garage. This really makes me think that this maybe the last move I may ever do. But with all the chaos of buying a house, packing, moving, in the midst of starting a new job, being in debt for the rest of my life, lving the American Dream and never having a true day off again :p LOL. I am still truly excited and truly blessed.

being new home owners there are always "projects" to be done. the past few weekends as the weather has been getting nicer those projects have been outdoors. ryan usually digging, planting, pulling, weeding, mowing or sweeping and me... well, i photograph it all. it's the part i enjoy. and this last weekend as i felt i should get dirty and dig a little he consistently asked me " you want me to do that?" so i'm guessing i either looked way out of my element or i wasn't doing it "right". i'll stick to the photographs or maybe i'll sleep in next time. :) i enjoy my role. our herbs are begining to sprout this week. we're still debating on the garden. we were all go this weekend and then stopped to figure out how to get rid of the grass that is where we want the garden. when we couldn't come up with a "simple solution" we opted out of the garden and bought flowers for the front yard. now i think we have a solution so we migh

Tales From the Gym

That's one weird blog title, so let me fill you in... I started the Couch to 5K running program awhile back, remember? Well, I sucked at it. I can't run. It worked me to death and it never got easier. The whole push yourself each time and it will get easier and then you'll increase your running increments until you build up your stamina... yea none of that happened. I did week one like 8 times and I still wanted to die. The thought of increasing my running time made me want to stab myself in my eye. Not to mention that I'm apparently some sort of 29 year old going on 60 because OH.MY.JOINTS! My hips, my knees & my ankles cursed me daily. I loved the way I felt when I was done, but it was the getting there that just about killed me. So one day we didn't run and you know how that goes... one day turned into two months and then it wasn't spoke of again. Hubs and I had to sit down and have a heart to heart one day about getting into shape. We both needed it BAD.
