More of Me

I was in a "list making" mood today. I have a bit of an issue with them. I make them for fun.


I realize there are things in my life that make me happy in an instant and there are things that make me grumble just as fast. Not that any of you care what those things are, but I enjoy listing them for you.


Things that bug me:


That awful noise that fax machines make

When people merge on the freeway going 40 mph

People who are indecisive

Butter that is too hard to spread on toast

Folding/Matching socks (does the dryer really eat them?)

Feet, ew!

Being cold

Cold coffee

Negative people

Unruly children and parents that do nothing about it

People that let their dogs lick them in the mouth

People that channel surf so fast you can't see what's on

Mondays

Living far away from people I really enjoy

Feeling stuck in a rut

Tight spaces

Onions, yuck!



Things that make my heart sing, bring a smile to my face & cause my cup to runneth over:


Flowers

Coffee

Rain

Fridays

Puppies (ones that don't bite and aren't mine)

Game nights

Kid's giggles

Slippers

My husband

Flip flops

Photos that stir emotion

A new purse

Girl talk

Christmas

Fresno State football

5pm

Red shoes

Surprise gifts

Taco Bell Pepsi

Ice cream

3 Musketeer candy bar's FROZEN (if you haven't tried this you MUST)

Snuggling with the dog

Sleeping in

Dinner out

Watching my husband help an old lady load her car

being new home owners there are always "projects" to be done. the past few weekends as the weather has been getting nicer those projects have been outdoors. ryan usually digging, planting, pulling, weeding, mowing or sweeping and me... well, i photograph it all. it's the part i enjoy. and this last weekend as i felt i should get dirty and dig a little he consistently asked me " you want me to do that?" so i'm guessing i either looked way out of my element or i wasn't doing it "right". i'll stick to the photographs or maybe i'll sleep in next time. :) i enjoy my role. our herbs are begining to sprout this week. we're still debating on the garden. we were all go this weekend and then stopped to figure out how to get rid of the grass that is where we want the garden. when we couldn't come up with a "simple solution" we opted out of the garden and bought flowers for the front yard. now i think we have a solution so we migh

My poor husband has had a rough few weeks so I thought I'd send him a bit of encouragement via our blog. What makes me ♥ love ♥ MY Love: His willingness to help an old lady load her car in the grocery store parking lot His humor The animal lover in him The way still sticks out his lower lip when he's bummed about something That he can BBQ a tri tip steak like it's nobody's business. That he notices when I clean house He's HOT! How he calls his family often just because That he does all the vacuuming at our house That he reads the blogs I write and will compliment me on them That he rolls his eyes when I turn on HGTV, but when I'm not in the room he'll turn to it That he'll walk up to a service man or woman in uniform in public & shake their hand & thank them for their service. That he'll sacrifice a Saturday to plant flowers for my 78 yr old aunt just so she won't do it herself. That after a knock down drag out argument he will apologize
